Referral commissions without a spreadsheet named FINAL_v7
Most Indian wedding studios already pay planners. Almost none can prove which Instagram story or WhatsApp intro became a booked reception. The code lives in someone’s notes app. Payouts become arguments in April.
Studio Mithra Affiliates assigns a unique ref code (for example RIYA10). Share your inquiry URL with ?ref=RIYA10. When that enquiry books, a conversion row stores booking value and commission percent. Status moves pending → confirmed → paid.
Affiliates can log in to see their own conversions. Your plan must allow affiliates (Business includes them; lower plans may add on). This is studio-owned referral tracking — not a public “become an influencer” marketplace.
Pair it with lead source on every enquiry so organic Instagram, WhatsApp, and paid affiliates do not collapse into one anonymous bucket.
From code to payout
- Create the affiliate. Name, WhatsApp, commission %. A ref code is issued.
- Share the inquiry link. your-page.com?ref=CODE lands on your public form and stamps the lead.
- Confirm and pay. When the job books, mark the conversion confirmed, then paid, with a date.
Handshake commissions do not scale
- Lost attribution. Three people claim the same couple.
- No affiliate login. Planners ping you for “my list” every month.
- Wrong percent. You quoted 10% on the shoot fee, they remember 10% of package + album.
- Excel rot. The payout sheet and the CRM never match.

No. You run your own partners — planners, makeup artists, influencers. Studio Mithra tracks their codes against your inquiry page and bookings.
Which plans include affiliates?
Affiliates are a plan gate (typically on Business, or as an add-on). Check live plan limits in billing — the product will hide the module if your plan does not include it.
Can I change commission per partner?
Yes. Each affiliate has their own commission percent. Conversions store the computed amount at booking time.
What if the same phone submits twice?
Inquiry duplicate checks still apply. The first attributed lead keeps the source; you are not creating two commissions for one couple by accident.
